At Red Bank Community Church, we welcome everyone to participate in our community. We do, however, ascribe to what we believe to be apostolic Christian doctrine. The key elements of this doctrine are:
There is one God, the Lord of all, who exists as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Son came as Jesus the Christ, Israel's promised Messiah, fully God
and fully man. Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, performed miracles and preached the gospel. He was crucified, resurrected and ascended to heaven. He is alive today and will return at the end of history to judge the living and the dead.
The death and resurrection of the Christ are the means that God has provided for reconciliation of a fallen creation to Himself. Our trust is that we will be saved by that which God has done and will do for us and in us by His merciful grace.
The singular hope of the Church is our resurrection when Christ returns to bring about the fullness of His promised redemption.
Baptism and communion are essential sacraments for the believer.
The Holy Spirit is present in and among believers -- providing guidance, comfort, and spiritual gifts.
The Church is the universal fellowship of believers. It is being continually built by Jesus so we can collectively be witnesses to the gospel -- in love, worship, prayer, good works and orthodox teaching until He returns.
God's two main instructions to His Church are to love Him and love others.
Scripture, properly understood, provides the fully reliable revelation of God.
